Whenever we try to do things our own way, we inadvertently put ourselves outside of God’s plan for our life and we must suffer the consequences.
It is in the quiet crucible of your personal private sufferings that your noblest dreams are born, and God’s greatest gifts are given in compensation for what you’ve been through…..
Listen my single friends out there, you can be alone but never feel lonely. The Lord is by your side, let His LOVE complete you. He is the Friend who sticks closer than a brother. He is the lover of your soul. No one else can love you more deeply than He does. Eat and drink from His word daily.
Clinging to God in Brokenness is the key to wholeness.
Sometimes we have questions in our mind on how to discern the voice of God. Listen beloved, hearing and knowing the voice of God is our birthright. We – who are the adopted sons and daughters of the most high have the privilege of hearing from God when He speaks to us.
His goal in speaking to us is so that we can:
Comprehend: know the truth about Him, about ourselves and about others’ needs.
Conform: conform to christ in our conduct conversation and character.
Communicate: communicate boldly with others about Christ, the truth of His word and His nature. He is the way the truth and the life.
God is always on time in speaking to us. When He is pushing you towards something or away from something he will physically align your life towards the things that He is pushing you to, or away from what He is pulling you from. Reading His word consistently is the best way to hear clearly from Him.
The Holy Spirit will highlight His word in our hearts in answer to our prayers each time He wants to speak to us. It has worked for me whenever I have questions in my heart. It’s so awesome to be able to hear from God. It eliminates chaos and confusion and gives us clarity in life pursuits and decision making. It is something we develop overtime as we daily walk with God and know Him better.
More insights on how to Discern the voice of God are in the book Broken But Blessed. I can’t wait for you to have it.
In the midst of the turmoil of life; we may forget to pray and seek God’s solution. We may feel too far away to reach the heart of God. In my turmoil and brokenness I forgot that God was only a prayer away and I took matters in my own hands; thinking that I was strong enough to clean my own mess.
I let the Lord be a co-pilot of my plane. If the Lord is the co-pilot of your plane, please switch places. The Lord knew that we would make all the mistakes we have made in life but He still created us and continues to love us. He knows that we are dust and that we need a saviour…… See what He says in Psalms 103:13-14
When we are broken, we hurt. We fail to understand why it should be us going through this and that. Mostly we ask “why me?”. Through my brokenness, I learned that our response to being broken should not be why me? but instead our question should be “what is the message?”
